Innovation Strategy for CPG Leader

Worked with a market leader in the mass snacking category to develop an innovation strategy, and long-term pipeline to support that strategy.  Established their long-term ambition, and key milestones for marketing, R&D, supply chain, and sales to align and resource against.

Innovation Pipeline for Digital B2B Leader

Worked with a market B2B leader in the creative color matching category to develop a digital innovation pipeline to help stretch the legacy analog brand into a more modern space to support the behaviors of designers across a variety of industries.  Built pipeline with a range of innovators, clients, and designers.

Innovation Process for Luxury Hospitality

Partnered with the CEO and Senior Team of a global luxury hotel brand to create a process and structure to run innovation on a global and local basis. Codified via a branded set of written and video training materials, which I trained into 450 of the innovation-designated teams in 90 different properties around the world.

Future-cast Innovation Strategy for CPG

Worked with a leader in the newborn diaper category to develop an innovation strategy, and future-cast pipeline 15-years out to align R&D, engineering, and marketing support over the long-term. Pipeline effectively developed to deliver against the innovation ambition and desired brand relationship with target mom over that time period.

Refined Anti-age Skincare Branding

Led the repositioning of global mass-premium skincare line, inclusive of architecture, custom packaging design, creative, and communication. Re-launched brand with breakthrough anti-age innovation and drove significant revenue and increase market share world-wide.

Global Insights and Personas for Pharma

Partnered with two pharma organizations collaborating in the development of a new-to-market biologic for atopic dermatitis.  I performed IDIs with patients and physicians across 4 global markets to generate insights to support clinical trials and marketing communications, having created eight specific personas to highlight the pain points and opportunities with patients.

Breakthrough Pipeline for Premium Vodka

Worked with leading vodka brand to generate, refine, and optimize new product pipeline that went beyond flavor alone for the 20-something influencer consumer. Immersed with consumers and mixologists in London and New York to identify opportunities, and then generated a pipeline of vodka products.

Branding for B2B Food Leader

Developed brand positioning for B2B food service division that was comprised of multiple brands of spices, sauces, and marinades. Performed rounds of qualitative research with chefs and purchase agents from a wide range of food service categories to ensure a position that is both differentiating and compelling for customers.

Process, Structure, and Training for PE-owned CPG

Worked with the CEO of a PE-owned baking brand to develop an innovation process, pipeline, and train it in to create a new capability and function to better position the brand for sale.  Created a full innovation playbook, and trained cross-functional team to run with team and CEO/CMO.
